THE HOUSE
The Casa Del Tabacco is an old tobacco factory. In 2006, when we renovated it, we wanted to preserve the large spaces to preserve the warmth and conviviality that emanate from the structure.
Entering our home also means responding to a particular soul, which preserves the peculiarities of Salento.
THE REGION
Staying in the small town of Vitigliano, you can discover the riches of Salento with the utmost comfort. Only 4 km away from the Casa del Tabacco you will find Santa Cesarea Terme, with the sea and its beautiful termal baths and sulphurous waters of remarkable qualities. The coasts looking towards Greece, are marked by small beaches and boundless cliffs.
The area is also full of places to visit. You can admire the red earth and the endless olive groves, wander around the city of Lecce and its extraordinary Baroque monuments or lose yourself in the Cutura, the largest botanical garden of succulent plants in Europe.
The local producers will seduce you with their cheeses, fruits, vegetables, legumes, full of sun, like the wines of Salento.
